Tooth gems are a small semi-permanent Swarovski Crystal or 18k/14k white or yellow gold charms that are attached to the surface of a tooth just like placing braces. Tooth gems adhered to the enamel of the tooth in the same way orthodontic brackets are placed. They are completely safe and can give a subtle or dramatic flair and sparkle to your smile. 

The Placement of a Halo Ali Tooth Gem is a painless 10-30 minute procedure (Time may vary depending on the amount of tooth gems that are received or tooth gem design of your choice). We carry real Swarovski Crystals and 14kt & 18K gold charms made specifically for tooth placement. We apply our Tooth gems using a similar technique that Orthodontist use for placement of braces {{we bond the gem directly to the tooth using a bonding agent similar to what is used to place brackets for braces}}. There's absolutely no drilling of the tooth involved.

Tooth gems and charms are Swarovski crystals or gold charms that are non-toxic & semi permanent which means they're temporary, and there is no damage to your tooth enamel. We are an Authorized and Certified Dental professionals/tooth gem technicians. Tooth gems are semi-permanent and can last anywhere from 6 months to 2 years with proper care. Tooth gems does not obstruct regular brushing of your teeth. However, you must be extremely careful with how you care for them, do  not brush your teeth hard, bite into hard foods or objects, do not eat for at least 1-2 hrs. after the gems are placed, do not use an electrical tooth brush directly on the teeth with the gems. If you're a person that grinds your teeth in your sleep you may want to reconsider getting this procedure, due to them having a high chance of coming off in your sleep. 

While we’re placing the tooth gems, we’ll place a gauze in your mouth to help prevent our client’s from swallowing the gems, However, understand things may happen out of our control. In the case that the gem is accidentally swallowed during or after gem placement, it will simply pass through the body. Swarovski crystals are now lead‐free, so there is no danger in accidentally swallowing them. 

We don’t recommend removing The tooth gem on your own, but depending on how much adherence is applied between the gem and the tooth makes a difference. At times, the tooth gem can be relatively easily removed at any time! A dental professional can do this for you. With a little pressure, the gem and its adhesive can be scraped or popped off. We can remove it for you for an additional charge, but only for teeth that have no more than one tooth gem applied per tooth. If you have a tooth with more tooth gems applied than you must go to a Denist for removal.

The care for tooth gems is similar to braces but not the same exact application as braces. Try to avoid sticky foods, gum, and candies which may break the adhesive off from the tooth. In addition, try to avoid biting into hard foods with the tooth that has the gem. Avoid using an electrical toothbrush on the teeth that holds the tooth gems. Right after tooth gem application, please avoid rubbing your tongue against them for 24-48 hours. The less you bother or adgitate the gems the longer they last in good condition. However. your life will forever change for some designs that require more then one gem per tooth (Ex: Disco Ball tooth) meaning you won't be able to no longer bite into things with your front teeth. You'll have to break food into pieces and place in mouth in order to eat without risking the chance of the gems falling out.

We recommend that you wait at least 12 hours after your gems are placed to brush your teeth. PLEASE DO NOT USE AN ELECTRIC TOOTH BRUSH AFTER YOUR TOOTH GEMS HAVE BEEN APPLIED. YOU MAY ONLY USE A SOFT BRISTLED TOOTH BRUSH MOVING FORWARD UNTIL YOUR GEMS ARE REMOVED OR FALL OFF ON IT'S OWN. Be sure to brush the tooth as you normally would. It's important to maintain standard dental hygiene on and around the tooth to prevent plaque from building up around the gem and potentially causing decay. 

We can remove your tooth gems & glue for an additional charge. However, we only remove tooth gems that are applied as one per tooth. If you have more than one tooth gem applied per tooth than you must go see your dentist for removal.

THEY WILL SIMPLY POLISH AND SMOOTH THE SURFACE TO REMOVE THE GEM & ANY RESIDUE THAT MAY BE LEFT BEHIND**.

• Do not touch, lick, or play with gem right after application. 
• Do not eat until at least 2 hour after crystal is applied. You can drink water immediately. 
• Only eat soft foods for 12 hours after your gem application. No chewy candies!! 
• Do not brush your teeth for 12 hours after gem application. You can use a soft bristled tooth brush 12 hours after gem placement. 
• It is recommended that you not use and electric toothbrush after gem application. 
• Please note. We are unable to remove teeth gems, and must be done at a dental office if it does not fall off by itself.
