Frequently Asked Questions For Composite Veneers

  • How much are your Composite Veneers?

The cost of our composite veneers varies per client as different cases require more work and effort amongst staff. Most cases can start around $5,000. In most cases, a $500 deposit is required to hold your appointment slot and the remaining balance is due the day of your appointment. We also offer financing for patient’s that are approved after applying for it.

  • What are Composite Veneers?

A Composite Veneer is a layer of resin material  that resembles clay like material placed over a tooth. Veneers can improve the shape size and color of a tooth or smile and protect the tooth’s surface from damage.

  • Would I be a good candidate for Composite Veneers?

Not everyone qualifies for Non-invasive veneers. Disqualifications are as instances like cross bite, underbite, gingivitis, periodontal disease, poor dental hygiene, teeth grinding, uneven/receding gums, and crowding of the teeth.

Veneers will correct slightly misaligned or crooked teeth. But if teeth are severely misaligned, too much pressure would cause the veneers to crack. In this case, you would need to have your teeth straightened first by receiving braces or Invisalign by your Orthodontist.

The best way to find out if you are a good candidate is to send three clear and close up photos of your smile for evaluation to (302)-588-7287.

  • Will the procedure hurt?

The process is completely pain free, no anesthesia or medications required.

  • How long will Composite Veneers last?

Composite Veneers can last 6-10 years it depends on individual care and up keep. We provide aftercare instructions to each of our patients after your veneers are placed. We also offer veneer upkeep & maintenance services.

  • How do I properly take care of Composite Veneers?

Keep them clean by going to your dentist for a cleaning every 6 months. You must care for your veneers just as much as you care for your real teeth. Veneers will never be as strong as your natural teeth, therefore, you must maintain a sense of care and awareness for as long as you have them placed. Brushing at least twice a day and using a water flosser are great ways to maintain optimal dental health. Poor hygiene can also lead to gum diseases, which may cause your gums to recede, exposing the borders of veneers and putting them at risk of chipping or detachment. Don’t bite into hard foods such as crabs, apples, hard candies, ect.

  • What Toothpaste can I use on my veneers?

You can use our very own whitening toothpaste twice a day since it’s not gritty. We don’t recommend using harsh toothpaste such as charcoal toothpaste, because it can ruin and scratch your veneers surface. Brushing at least twice a day and using water flossers are great ways to maintain optimal dental health. Poor hygiene can also lead to gum diseases, which may cause your gums to recede, exposing the borders of veneers and putting them at risk of chipping or detachment.

  • What Shouldn’t I eat while my veneers are placed?

Please watch what you eat on a daily basis. The rule against biting hard stuff also applies to food, such as raw carrots, raw apples, hard chips, crab shells and meat cuts that contain bone. Aside from watching out for tough food items, avoid food that contain lots of coloring. Veneers do get stained, just not very easily (coffee, red wine, dark sodas, chocolates)

  • Can Composite Veneers be removed?

Composite veneers can be repaired or replaced by adding new composite material done by us. In order for them to be removed completely, we recommend going to your dentist to get them removed, because they use certain handpieces to shave away the composite without shaving away your natural teeth.

  • Can my composite Veneers be whitened?

Yes, we offer services where we can brighten and whiten your veneers back to their original color after they have stained. Your veneers can’t be whitened not brighter than what the original shade were due to it being false tooth restorations.

Composite Veneers are only performed in our Philadelphia office-Composite Appointments will be taken in ATL in Winter  of 2022 & will be announced when those changes occur
